Regular maintenance is one of the best ways to protect your vehicle for the long run. At Drive-In Auto Repair, qualifying customers can take that protection even further with our NAPA 10-Year/400,000-Kilometre Limited Engine & Driveline Warranty.

The NAPA 10/400 Warranty is available at no additional charge for qualifying vehicles. It provides coverage for certain engine and driveline components for up to 10 years of vehicle age or 400,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.

What Does the NAPA 10/400 Warranty Cover?

The warranty is designed to help protect some of the major internally lubricated components in your engine and driveline.

The driveline includes components within the transmission, transaxle, transfer case, and differential. Certain internal engine components are also covered.

For a qualifying breakdown, the warranty can cover approved parts and labour for eligible repairs, up to a maximum lifetime value of $5,000 CAD per qualifying vehicle.

Does My Vehicle Qualify?

To register for the NAPA 10/400 Warranty, your vehicle must meet specific age and mileage requirements.

At the time of registration, a qualifying vehicle must:

• Have fewer than 60,000 kilometres
• Have been manufactured within the previous 48 months
• Meet the vehicle-use and eligibility requirements of the program

Certain vehicles and uses do not qualify, including commercial vehicles, competition vehicles, vehicles used for agriculture or mining, and vehicles with diesel engines larger than 4.0 litres.

Keeping Your NAPA 10/400 Coverage Active

The 10/400 Warranty rewards regular and continuous vehicle maintenance.

To maintain coverage, required maintenance must be completed at participating NAPA AUTOPRO facilities in Canada and follow the program requirements.

Engine oil and filter service intervals cannot exceed:

Conventional or semi-synthetic oil:
8,000 kilometres or four months, whichever comes first.

Full synthetic oil:
10,000 kilometres or six months, whichever comes first.

Required transmission, transaxle, transfer case, and differential fluid and filter services cannot exceed 100,000 kilometres or 36 months, whichever comes first. Manufacturer requirements may call for more frequent servicing.

You should also keep copies of your service and repair invoices as proof that the required maintenance has been completed.
